Raise your voice for 60 seconds: make a difference for the Children of Great Ormond Street HospitalSubmitted by Nikki Slade on Thu, Apr 02 2009 - 08:42 |
“Would you be willing to get over what other people think of your voice and have a breakthrough in self expression to raise funds for the children of Great Ormond Street?”
I have put together this fundraising plan for Great Ormond Street Hospital called One Raise your voice for 60 seconds:Lift the lid off British inhibitions! and would love as many people as possible to get involved. If you would like to take part you can find more details here http://www.freetheinnervoice.com/voicework.html#onesound
The origins of this project was inspired by Chloe Goodchild's One Sound, One Breath. Nikki would like to thank Chloe for her continued inspiration on the voice path. For more details about Chloe please see her website www.thenakedvoice.com

One Sound One Breath
I took part on Saturday 10 May with my friend Hanna as my witness (and her daughter sounded with both of us as well!). It was amazing going out and releasing my sound in public. I picked Leicester Square as it is always full of people. I also had a couple of people who did it back to me which was great.
Do take a look at the youtube clips:

If you fancy taking part please send me an email and I will get in touch.
