Wisdom of the voice
Over hundreds, if not thousands of years the voice has been recognised as a significant way within the Healing Arts. Its use in ancient healing systems and communities ranged from the mothers’ lullabies, the shaman’s incantations, to singing around fires. Even the vocal expression which comes after hitting our thumb with a hammer is an expression of ourselves in that moment and is our naked healing voice.
Sound is vibration and as such has a direct effect on our biological, emotional and mental energetics. We all know the power of music to invoke, provoke, soothe and energise us. When that music is sourced from our own voice and sound, our own inner healer knows precisely the musical expression and notes needed to help support our healing and spiritual journey of our own sound wisdom.
The Naked Voice Facilitators and Teachers often have backgrounds in other therapeutic and healing systems. They combine their skills and expertise with the Naked Voice work to provide a deep field of listening and awareness.
Naked Voice processes and methods are used to facilitate both group workshops and one-to-one sessions for personal development and healing.
