Bethia Beadman began playing music in West Country pubs and on the bandstand bill at Glastonbury. She has been in Courtney Love’s band and in psychedelic, folk rock band Circulus. She has sung in St. Peter’s Basilica, The Vatican Rome and worked with The Darkness' producer Pedro Ferreira. She is now recording her first album with Mike Bennett and Co. including Mark Refoy from Spiritualised.

When Bethia was eight she wrote a story about a singing bird with a silver beak that had to fly to the end of the universe to discover the healing passion juice of life. At 16 she bought a silver guitar and embarked on adventures from Asia to America, returning to study Sanskrit and Indian Studies at King’s College, Cambridge. Within a year of completing her final dissertation on the dissolution of duality she met a man in a hat in a pub who directed her to Chloe Goodchild…

And this is where the help began to dawn and the liquid gold began to drip down through the disintegrating floor of the dumbfounded helpless act of being… For Bethia, Naked Voice work attempts to address that blissful calling and insatiable longing to reveal WHAT IS BURIED BENEATH THE THEATRE, BENEATH THE TEMPLE…? Singing activates every cell in her body, healing each moment as it occurs and taking her to a purer unadulterated sense of self as an indestructible, relentless, guardian force to FOLLOW THE NOISE OUT THE DOOR…

You can watch the music video ‘Woman of Day’ below, and listen to some recent tracks on her music page here. There's also live acoustic recordings and a fully produced single ‘Homerton Station’ at www.myspace.com/bethiabeadman

"Bethia manages to capture many archetypes in her voice, the sorceress, the crone, the virgin, the downtrodden, royalty and nobleness, all at once."
