The Friday night FUNshop is back! Dissolve tension, nourish your body and explore your unique sound in a group context by singing chants and songs from various world traditions. No singing experience necessary. PLEASE BRING cushions if you like to "floor-sit", water bottle, and if you play, small percussion or other instruments to play along. Chanting (Kirtan) is a deeply inspiring practice that opens the heart and reveals the experience of our own true nature. It calms the mind and helps us to release unwanted tensions allowing us to experience the freedom within. We chant in Sanskrit, a language revealed by sages in ancient times as the language of the heart. There is a deep wisdom within the vibration of each chant (Kirtan) and each individual has their own unique experience of grace through the power of chanting. | 27
